The cost is $450 per child per week, and participants will stay at our base camp in Stolle Meadows.
Keep in mind, that our regular horse camps are limited to a maximum of 20 campers. We highly recommend that you register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot with the remainder due two weeks prior to the camp date.

• Applicant must submit a 1-page, well-thought-out essay on what horse camp means to them and why he/she would be interested in participating in this program.
Since CITs are only needed during the Regular Horse Camp weeks, we are limited to only 16 possible spots (2 CIT's per week). Upon submitting the above criteria, you will be contacted to confirm if your child is eligible for the CIT program.
Open week is available for any large group activities, and is offered from August 26 through August 30. The base camp may be leased out to the public in conjunction with horseback riding activities.
This is ideal for girl and boy scout troops, church groups, adult retreats, weddings, and family reunions. Participants will stay at our base camp in Stolle Meadows.
Ensure your child has the best summer ever by having them join one of Juniper Mountain Outfitters' horse camps. We have 3 different types of camps to choose from, and an open week which is perfect for large groups.
Our base camp in Stolle Meadows consists primarily of five 12’ x 14’ sleeping tent and one large 20’ x 36’ cook cabin with outlying corrals, pastures, and tack tents. Our sleeping tents have:
• Wooden floors
• Sheepherder stoves
• 4 comfortable cots
• Generator-powered electricity at night
While staying at the base camp, your child will receive a well-rounded, hands-on learning experience with the horses. This includes grooming and saddling instructions, riding lessons, and, of course, numerous hours of riding time out on the trail. Other activities include swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, hiking, Dutch-oven cooking and campfire activities. Helmets will be required for all participants 18 years old and under.
The staff at our camp includes a cook, 3 state-licensed guides and 2 wranglers. All are certified in standard first aid and CPR. A first aid station is set up in the cook tent, and all guides carry a field kit in their saddlebags. In case of an emergency, the Cascade Hospital is only 40 minutes away, and Stolle Meadows is equipped with a helicopter pad if Life Flight is needed.

Teen week is designed for campers between the ages of 13-18. No horse experience necessary. Camp runs from
July 15-19. The cost is $450 per child per week, and participants will stay at our base camp in Stolle Meadows.
This camp is geared towards some of our older, more experienced riders and involves a 3-day pack trip amidst the most beautiful country the Boise National Forest has to offer. It runs from July 29 through August 2.
Children attending this camp will learn how to take care of their horses outside the controlled atmosphere of the base camp in Stolle. Also, they will learn how to set up camp and cook their own meals.
In order to attend this camp, the camper must be at least 14 years old and must have attended at least 2 prior camps with Juniper Mountain Outfitters. The cost is $500 per child per week, and participants will begin their horseback adventure in Stolle Meadows.
